Net Fishing

Professional net-fishermen are guiding you today, we will set out with an exotic raft, which main feature is not speed, but comfort.

We check on the nets which have been lowered into Lake Muojärvi previously. After that we visit Korkeasaari Island where we have a break for hot beverages and pancakes!

During the trip we will hear and learn about fishing in the village of Sossonniemi. Fishing has been and still is a livelihood here and the village even has a fishing harbor.
